And now on to our "new" feature - the questions submitted by forum members. Again we got really good questions and Krokus did an awesome job answering them!

Stephanie: You have been living in Spain for quite some time now but are originally from the Netherlands. Do you have plans of ever moving back there for good or do you want to stay in Spain? Or maybe there is some other country you would like to live in?

I lived by now longer in Spain then i ever did in Holland thats why i dont think i will ever go back. The last 23 years i went back maybe around 6 or 7 times. Also i think it would be hard to go back to Holland again after so many years because life is different in Spain, more sun, each weekends its like holiday( i live next to one of the most popular holiday cities of Europe, BENIDORM and have the beach around the corner) and have many great metal friends (i only know phryque from Holland) Other country beside Spain i could live in would be GERMANY and HUNGARY. Strong nations with powerful history and minds.

Zac: First of all, I want to give you my congrats for this second nomination!!!

THANKS.

I would like to ask you what bands do you know/like from Portugal.

I like some METAL bands from Portugal but your movement is not very big or well known like for example the German or Italian metal scene. TARANTULA and IBERIA are the more well known heavy metal bands from your country but some of my fave are the more extreme bands like the legendary DECAYED (still releasing incredible albums), the Thrash band ALASTOR, the first album by MOONSPELL.....and one incredible EPIC HEAVY METAL BAND, IRONSWORD.

Plus, I know you like the 80's metal, rock, glam, etc.  I wonder: do you like bands with "modern style"? What bands?

I like many bands of today but i dont like modern style or modern influences in bands like INDUSTRIAL, NU METAL sound, GRUNGE, ALTERNATIVE etc.... If a band play sleazy/glam, it should sound like that always, if a band plays THRASH METAL, it should sound like that ETC.....

What do you think about Crashdiet in their first album?

I like their first album, but their demo, that the singer(RIP) sent to me long before their first album was released was far better in my opinion. Other glam metal bands of today that i like would be SHAMELESS, NASTY IDOLS (legends, and just now they released again a great album), LOUD´N´NASTY, PARADICE, MISS CRAZY etc...

daveh1701:  Congratulations....  Do you wish LAG were hugely popular and therefore played far bigger venues with a bigger stage, better sound, better lights etc, or do you prefer that as a smaller band they play intimate shows that we all attend as long time loyal fans?

Would be nice for the band members to be big again like they were in the late 80s i think, but personally i dont care, and dont mind to see them in a little pub or a big stadion. If the set list is good, i am happy.

If film star Phil was offered a part in any remake, what film would it be and what character would he play?

Ohhhh, that hard hahaha. Maybe a star in a PORNO FILM????, would be nice for his female fans and gays i guess

UncleFestersChildren: Does your girl friend have a sister?

No sorry Ed, she is only child. If she had a sister it would be great for you to be with her because if she is like my girlfriend, you would have a great life with her.

phryque:  Hey man. I've always wondered this (but the FOTM rules say you don't have to answer): [1] you are an advocate of respecting each others opinion. When you were a newbie here that was not so much the case. Did this Forum teach you that?

To be honest i think i always respected others opinion on the forum, from the beginning (but i can be wrong of course) but thats the way i remember it. The problem was that many people didnt respect my opinion when i talked about the second world war and about the Aryan race,......people just called me bad things because this but i never attacked back because i always and still do, respect everybody on the forum, because first they are LA GUNS fans, and that already deserve a lot of respect.

[2] Most here love to have you in this Forum community. Has that made you change A TINY BIT your views on other things (those things you learned not to talk about anymore on this Forum)?

I still have my same opinions but yes, i learned from the forum that its sometimes just better to keep your opinion for your self. Not everybody knows how to respect others opinions and thats something you learn the hard way. Still, i also feel that people like Stephanie, Ed, ATHENSVAMPIRE, you PHRYQUE etc...always respected my opinion and you never attacked me for it. But yes, i am more calm now (dont forget i am also a little older hahaha)

glamgoddess: how big is your music collection?  like how many CDs, Lps, etc. do you think you own?

Around 4000 lps, 3500cd, 500 singles, 1500 tapes, hundreds of vhs music tapes, dvd´s, many picture discs etc...from bands all around the world, from hard rock till black metal, from big bands till the most incredible underground band somewhere from HONDURAS or VENEZUELA. From mega selling lps/cds till demo tapes limited to 50 copies. But only stuff from our metal movement. From HARD ROCK/HEAVY ROCK till BLACK/DEATH metal.

Lv2rokk: Do you find that you like more bands that are from the US or from other countries? If they are mostly from outside the US, is there one country in particular or is it random?

I love many US METAL, HARD ROCK/GLAM/SLEAZY METAL bands from the US but i also like many death metal bands from Sweden for example, and between 1989 and 1993 their were around 1000 bands for example. The UK had the NWOBHM movement with hundreds of bands, and German all those glory thrash and heavy metal bands, and norway with many black metal bands, thats why its hard to answer your question, but i love many bands from the US. Outside the US i am a big fan of JAPANESE METAL like LOUDNESS, BOW WOW/VOV WOW, EARTHSHAKER, ANTHEM, METALUCIFER and a long etc...

Also, have you ever been to the US? If not, do you have plans to visit and if so, where would be the first place you visited and why?

No, i never been to the US. I never left EUROPE. Still i would like to go ones to see NY and LA specially.

Holy Gun: when we´ll meet again?

Maybe when you play a gig somewhere near or at the next LA GUNS concert, Andres.

Hazygirl:  Where do you store all of those millions of cds that you own?

I dont own millions of cds but i have one room specially for all my records/cds. Thats my little heavy metal heaven and i spend most of my time inside that place when i dont work.

Do you listen to all of them from start to finish or do you pick out a few songs from each?

I am a album type of guy thats why i always listen to all the album, from the first till the last song.
