Welcome to FAN OF THE MONTH!

Your name: Bianca Stoschek

Where you're from:
I live in Gundholzen. that's a small village in south Germany at the lake of Constance...pretty close to the border of Switzerland.

About you (work, hobbies, etc):
I work for an American company called TRW. I book some of the stuff we produce, that's not too exciting, but it pays the bills, the gas for my car/bike and my roadtrips...so I'm fine with it ;-)

I've two important things in my life... music, my favourite bands beside LA Guns are Warrant, RATT, Firehouse, Danger Danger (w/Poley), early Bon Jovi, Europe, Metal Skool...to make it short all these sleaze/hair/glam bands.

I just luv to go to concerts, that's kinda essential for me. 3 months without a concert and I'm in such a bad mood, that most of the people can't stand me anymore ;-)

The other big thing is my crotch rocket...I kinda neglected it this year, too much road trips and the weather was too bad to do them by bike...lol, most of 'em were in the UK anyway and I don't really trust myself driving in left traffic. I'm happy if I don't get hit by a car when I'm on foot on tour...Pat and Nyein saved a few times my life by now ;-)

Oh yeah, I love to travel to America, it's such a great country!

I've been to a few different countries over here, but I never hated Germany when I got back...but it took me 3 month to get used to Germany again after my first America trip.

Fav LAG song:
Did anybody ever just choose one???

Well, I'm no exception. My favourite songs are Ballad of Jayne, Crystal Eyes (Phil's voice on ballads...does it get any better?), One more reason (it just rocks!), Okay, let's roll (great lyrics!).

But if you put a gun on my head and tell me I'm limited to one, I'd pick Don't look at me that way...I just love this song, the voice, the guitar solo it's without doubt my all time favourite guitar solo!

I even use it as ring tone on my cell phone ;-)

Fav LAG album:
Waking The Dead. This album is for me the album of this millenium!

Best LAG personal story:
LA Guns gigs are always something special, lol, also I get the feeling that I will see them on every tour in a different line up, which is really bad, since I get so fast used to people that I miss the guys who are not with them anymore. Okay to be fair I've to add that the "newbies" are usually cool guys as well, but I wouldn't be mad if Keff, Tracii or Keri would rejoin the band...but as long as Phil stays on vocals I guess I can life with different guitar player ;-)

Hmmm, I think that wasn't the topic, right?

So if I have to pick a favourite story I would say it was the first time I met them...well, it wasn't exactly the first time, since I've already been for a while on the Rockfest, but with another band I made friends with earlier that year. The guys were cool with me being with them on the road, but the tourmanager wasn't too happy...if anything happens!

There was just one more show for me anyway before I had to fly back to Germany, so the guys asked Jay, he asked Brad, he asked the boys from LA Guns and I found myself on their bus.

I have to add that I had no clue about LA Guns before the Rockfest shows, and since I'm far away from being a groupie I used to choose who I stay with careful...so here I was, in a foreign country, on a tourbus with more or less foreign guys (okay, I kinda knew and trusted Keff and Adam by then) without a clue what kind of musicians they are.

I had no idea if they helped me out because they wanted to do the other band a favour, or if they thought I'm okay?!

At the beginning I wasn't feeling too good about the whole situation, and I kinda watched out for the next mouse hole I can hide in ;-)

Well, the guys saw that I'm slightly insecure and they were sooo sweet and caring that I lost my shyness within 20 minutes.

LOL, so I'm kinda happy that you can't find mouse holes in tour busses, otherwise I would have missed what a bunch of cool guys they are!

The farthest you've traveled to see them play?
Depends from what point you see it, the farthest city I saw them from my home town was LA last summer...lol, I will never forget Brad's face who arrived first at the venue.

He kinda looked at me from head to toe asking "what are YOU doing here?"

So I told him I just flew in, and you could tell from his face that he was wondering if I flew in from Germany? ;-)

I was like "No, no, not from Germany, I was on vacation in Vegas!" So it was just an hour by plane.

I think the longest travelling was for the last UK tour, I travelled 10 hours by train to get to Silke and Steph, and it took us another 12 hours to drive to Sheffield by car.

Any last words:
Choose me as FOTM...lol, who came up with this crazy idea???

I was actually shocked when I opened the IM...I would have never expected that, I'm such a lazy poster! Thanx! It took me almost forever to do this, um, no I'm not complaining, I just got lost all the time in the memories I have with LA Guns, or people I met on their shows.

I never really liked boards, and I wasn't too interested to join the board after Steph and Silke (I "met" them on the AOL Chat with Tracii) recommended me to register here.

But this girls are somewhat stubborn, and never gave up reminding me that I planned to check out this board...THANX girls!

This board is beside my daily newspaper (Metal-Sludge) a site that cheers me up every day!

They were actually right...this board, or better said the people here are really damn cool!

And it's much fun to meet up with them on shows, and some of the people I met on the road turned into best friends by now!
