Welcome to FAN OF THE MONTH!

Our Fan of the Month for July 2006 not only is a devoted fan of the band, no, she's also a good band photographer and has taken THE classic Phil shot: the infamous "bloody guitar" pic - "bloody" in the original, literal sense of the word, of course ;-). Congratulations to Hazygirl on being FOTM and on having her great photo featured on the upcoming L.A. Guns CD "Loud & Dangerous"!

Screen name:
Hazygirl

And what is your real name?
Jo-Ann

Where are you from?
Queens, New York

Please tell us a little about yourself (Job, hobbies, etc.):
I'm a teacher, I started a photography club at my school for the older kids because I'm into photography.  I love turtles, actually tortoises and I'm really into tea and all things tea related.  I'm mostly into the "proper" British afternoon tea aspect and collect tea cups and tea pots.

How did you get into L.A. Guns?
I can remember getting albums at my college radio station and going to see them with my sister (Nikkicole) way way way back at Spit, a nightclub on Long Island.   I don't think Nikki was even legal age back then. This was the show when Tracii jumped off the drum riser and misjudged the height of the ceiling and ended up smacking his head something fierce.  If I'm not mistaken, he left for a  bit and then came out and finished the show!

What is your favourite song/album?
It's hard to pick really but recently I've mostly been listening to Tales.

Now tell us your favourite L.A. Guns story/memory, please:
Meeting the band several times, and having them be nothing but terrific each and every time.   That, and being asked to use one of my photos on the new album cover.

What other bands do you like?
I like so many, the list would be too long but I've been in love with the Black Crowes since day one.  I also love Alice in Chains, The Clash, The Replacements and Faster Pussycat.

Any famous last words?
You can't go wrong with glitter!
