Welcome to FAN OF THE MONTH!

The first FOTM in 2006 goes to a woman who has had her share of hard times/chaos in 2005, let's hope the new year will treat her good - and all of us, too! ;-) Congrats Lottie!!!!

Your real Name?
Lottie Keeney (User Name: Hysteria)

Please tell us a little about yourself.
Divorced mom of a wonderful 8 year old boy... Tommy. He's my heart and soul. In September, I moved from West Virginia to Wisconsin (800 miles) and I'm still staying with my aunt until we get a place. So, at the moment, 95% of everything I own is boxed up and in storage and I'm surviving on a mere fraction of my music, clothes and the rest of everything I own. LOL I was just voted in as Vice-President of the school PTO, despite the fact no one knows me... guess it's obvious I'm a sucker, no? LOL Seriously, I love being involved at Tommy's school, scouts or whatever. I feel that if I don't stand behind my child, who will? I'm a waitress... a vegetarian... I love to laugh and spend time with my friends, who also happen to be family too. :) I love the city life and all it entails. Love going to shows, whether big arenas or smoky little clubs. But I enjoy quiet things too... reading, puzzles and Tommy's teaching me to play chess. LOL

How did you get into L.A. Guns?
Well, in being a huge Def Leppard fan, I knew Phil had been in Girl with the other Phil (Collen) but had never gotten around to checking out LA Guns. Then, in '89 or '90, I was in this club where different record companies would send me singles and I had to rate them. LA Guns' "I Wanna Be Your Man" was one of them. I loved it and sent a kickass review. Fast forward to 2002, I was in Myrtle Beach and it happened that LA Guns was playing that weekend at the House Of Blues. We went and I fell in love with the music all over again... the rest is history LOL

Your favourite song(s)/album(s)?
Probably the hardest question on here! LOL I love Gypsy Soul, Chasing The Dragon and Over The Edge but Time has a special place in my heart. Then again, I gotta add Rip and Tear, Sex Action, Crystal Eyes and too many more to name... Favorite album has to be Hollywood Vampires with Tales running a very close second.

Tell us your favourite L.A. Guns story/memory?
Myrtle Beach 2005! Yes, at the beach again! LOL But I got to meet Becca, Elmo and Lee and I still smile when I think back to the laughs we shared (Cleatis Guns forever baby!!!) Plus I got to meet the band and hang out a bit on the bus afterward... very cool! Thanks for the pix and the memories, guys! XOXO

What other bands do you like?
Pretty varied... Def Leppard, Queen, David Bowie, Styx, Poison, Bon Jovi, Mozart, Journey, Beethoven, London After Midnight, Cinderella, Aerosmith, AC/DC and tons more I can't think of at the moment LOL

Since you are the first FOTM this year - What are your big plans for 2006?
Move out of my aunt's house and get my own place!! LOL

Any words of wisdom for your fellow board members?
"Have a good time all the time!" Ok, ok I stole that one from a Lep video... but it fits and it's the way I feel at the moment. But seriously... be yourself, listen to the music that makes you feel good. To hell what everyone else thinks. 20 years from now, it'll still be around... it's timeless. :)
