Welcome to FAN OF THE MONTH!

Fan of the Month for February 2006 is Michelle. She's a long time L.A. Guns fan, but one of the more silent message board members. So this is the chance to get to know her a little better.

Me & Sebastian Bach in 2000

Name / Location:
Michelle (User name: Michelle)
PA, USA

What do you do for a living?
I'm a title clerk at Daimler Chrysler Financial.

Please tell us a little about yourself?
I live in PA with my boyfriend Joe. I love kitties, and I have one named JayJay Benjamin (Benjamin is for Benjamin Orr; I won't say who the JayJay part is for...okay let's say it's for Jay Gordon from Orgy). JayJay can be seen at http://www.catster.com/?78096

I love music, animals, NHRA racing, rollerskating, pinball, kickboxing, dancing, singing and playing bass guitar. I also love chocolate, especially plain M&Ms & Hershey Kisses. Just plain milk chocolate...what else do you need?

Me & my favorite NHRA funnycar driver Tony Pedregon

How did you get into L.A. Guns?
I saw the Sex Action video on Headbanger's Ball. Phil and Tracii were on too. I thought they were neat cuz they all had black hair.

Your favourite song/album?
LAG or in general? Let's see...."I Wanna Be Your Man" and "Shoot For Thrills". My fave LAG albums are the first one & Cocked & Loaded. It's hard to say which one I like more...probably Cocked & Loaded, but I love the first one for sentimental reasons.

This is me & my friend Nick Douglas, who plays bass for Doro and others

In general, it's hard to pick one song or album, but I think most people know I love Sebastian Bach, so for album I would say Slave to the Grind by Skid Row. My favorite song....probably "In a Darkened Room" by Skid Row. Also near and dear to my heart are "Save a Prayer" by Duran Duran, "Space Age Love Song" by A Flock of Seagulls, and "If" by Bread. (sorry, I'm a mushy chick.)

Tell us your favourite L.A. Guns story/memory?
Haha...well, the first time I saw them in 1999, it was Phil, Tracii, Kelly, Mick & Steve. It was awesome to see the "original" lineup intact. At one point Phil looked right at me from onstage and said "you're so cute". (I read his lips.) Also, when I met Phil in 2000, he kissed me.

And this is my boyfriend Joe, who is also a kitty lover, with our friend Sugar, who passed away last year

What other bands do you like?
Slik Helvetika, Sebastian Bach/Skid Row with Sebastian Bach, Orgy, Black Label Society, Pantera, Doro, Jackyl (a great band to see live!), Dokken with George Lynch, Lizzy Borden (not Starwood...sorry Lizzy), probably a lot of others that I can't think of right now....

I like all kinds of music, though....

Any famous last words?
I just want to tell everyone to remember to always let your loved ones (furry ones too!) know how much you love them, because they won't be here forever. Love them while you can.
