Welcome to FAN OF THE MONTH!

The FAN OF THE MONTH for APRIL goes to a long time member of the board, NICOLE. Congrats Nic!.

Screenname: Nikole/Sanctified

Name/Where are you from?
Nikole (Niki) {oddly enough, my first name is April! ~lol~} I'm from Slidell, Louisiana, which is about 20-30 minutes from New Orleans. Nice little town, more of a suburb trying to break out into city status.

A little about you...
I work as a prep cook in a steakhouse which means I make all the stuff that can be made before it's actually ordered. It's a messy job, but I like it. Often I make appetizers when they are ordered and do a lot of running around like a chicken with it's head cut off! ~lol~  I also work on short stories and poetry and hope to one day be published. I've been married for 8 years and we have one spoiled rotten cat.

Favorite Album:
That's a toughie. I'm going to go with Vicious Circle. I like LAG on the more heavy side. Cocked and Loaded and Waking the Dead are close seconds.

Favorite Song:
I cannot pick just one! Rip and Tear, Wheels of fire, Sex Action, Waking the Dead, Long time Dead, Killing Machine and Scream. I think all of those reflect the best sounds LAG has had thru all the albums. And I almost freaked out when they covered Whole Lotta Love, that was really great!

Favorite LAG Show:
I would have to say the one at the Shim Sham club a couple of years ago. There was a larger crowd, but no obnoxious drunks. LAG opened for FP that night. And honestly I like them up front better so I can see them, and then if I want to leave I can. But seeing them headline this past year was great too :)

Favorite LAG Memory:
All of my LAG moments are my favorite! There are so few, heh. Meeting them for the first time a couple of years ago was really the best. Tracii was playing that tour and he's a super nice guy and talked to me for a bit. Steve and Muddy were also really nice, and Phil kissed my cheek and made me completely mute for about 15 mins ~lol~ Meeting Keri and Adam and Phil last year was also really great. As was meeting all of the LAG girls in the entire southeast! ;) That was too much fun and I hope we can do it again this year.

Hobbies:
Do video games count as a hobby? I love RPG's {role playing games) like Final Fantasy}. I'm knee deep in Final Fantasy X-2 right now. I also love to read. My favorite author is Terry Pratchett. I really enjoy photography, trying an assortment of crafts projects, and painting Skaven armies from Warhammer Fantasy.

Last Words:
Spay and neuter your pets! And don't eat the yellow snow ;)  See you at the shows!
